Whether you're starting your journey at College of the Redwoods or already enrolled in a fully online university program, SEED is designed to support you every step of the way.

Stay rooted in your community by using CR as your “home” campus while you complete
your bachelor’s degree online!
With access to our Eureka, Del Norte, and Klamath-Trinity locations, we’ll ensure
you have the resources, support, and sense of community you need to thrive while pursuing
your bachelor’s degree online through Cal Poly Humboldt. While you can also access
a broad array of student support services at Cal Poly Humboldt, your local CR campus
is close to home and convenient!
Stay Connected and Supported with CR Resources
By enrolling in just one unit at CR, you’ll unlock access to valuable resources, including:
- CR Academic Support Center (ASC) Services including in-person and online tutoring
- Library Services (in person library services and digital resources)
- Testing center (access to test proctoring services for non-CR classes)
- Access to CR Food Pantry, Clothing Closet, and Microwave
- Access to basic needs including school supplies, toiletries & hygiene supplies, diapers, coffee, and snacks
- CalFresh application help
- 12 free therapy sessions with TimelyCare
- Unlimited medical and psychological care and 24/7 talk-now services through TimelyCare
- Referrals to Humboldt Independent Practice Association (IPA) for local medical and family services
- College of the Redwoods Career Center
- Career Planning Resources and Services
- The Multicultural and Equity Center and Student Clubs
- Veteran Resource Center for military affiliated students
- Student Accessibility Support Services (SASS) and The Light Center for any student CR student with a verifiable disability/health condition resulting in an educational limitation
- Access to Rising Scholars—Juvenile Justice Program and services for students who are justice impacted between the ages of 13-26
- Access to the NextUP Program and services for current or former foster youth, under the age of 26
- Access to CalWORKs program and services for parenting students with a child/children under the age of 18, who currently receive cash assistance (TANF) through the Department of Health and Human Services
Enroll in Low-Unit Courses to Access Resources
You can easily stay connected to CR by enrolling in one or more low-unit courses, such as: Cooperative Work Experience Education courses (variable unit options) Guidance Courses: Leadership Development and Career Planning (online learning options) Physical Education Courses (in-person and online learning options)
Enroll at CRHow to Get Started
- Step 1: Choose an online degree program that aligns with your interests and goals
- Explore Cal Poly Humboldt’s Interdisciplinary Studies - Individualized Degree Program and Leadership Studies Program.
- Step 2: Apply to the online bachelor’s degree program of your choice
- Step 3: Once admitted, enroll in at least 1-unit at College of the Redwoods
- Register for classes on Webadvisor or at the Admissions Office
- These units may be applied towards your bachelor’s degree if you have earned less than 70 community college units
- Step 4: Begin your bachelor’s degree program and start using CR’s support services.
- Once enrolled, access CR’s campus resources to enhance your academic success. Stay connected with the CR community through events and student activities while progressing through your online coursework.

Scholarship Opportunity
Tuition Support for IDP Students Starting January 2025, students enrolled in Cal Poly Humboldt’s Interdisciplinary Studies - Individualized Degree Program (IDP) will be eligible for a scholarship to cover the cost of 1-3 units per semester at CR. This ensures that you can use CR as your home campus without additional financial stress.
